120 Cheltenham Shooters wood 0.5pt win @4.6 1pt place is my pick for the Nicholls / Walsh combination. My pick is 2/2 at this track and is still improving. I cant see Oh crick reversing the form of when meeting recently. The Tizzard horse has plenty of weight to be lumping round here. Have to give a chance to Pepite rose as a respected punter feels this is the ew value. We should handle the testing ground when looking at the breeding and go close again.

230 Cheltenham Cristal bonus is the pick. 0.5pt win 0.5pt place Currently around 7.4 and looks to be progressing nicely. Ruby walsh has won on the horse twice. Slight concern over the track as have ran here before 3 times and the efforts have been slightly disappointing. We won our last race over in ireland and have not been to harshly treated for that effort. Im also wanting to take on Walkon as im in the camp of this one is best fresh. Quantitativeesing is not out of this also.

We are a CD winner and on breeding this mark and this grade of race looks well within our compass. Sire off spring tend to go well this time of year also. Personally think storm king and true to form are up against it at this level. Nazreef is a live danger off the current mark and i was put off slightly by the jockey booking on the current fav Embankment. So for those reasons im with Grey Mirage at a fair price. Trainer W haggas has a good record here and in hcp races. He puts buick on today and they do well when teaming up together. Trainer/jock 27% strike rate when teaming up last couple of years. W haggas is 33% here in hcp last few years and overall his place rate here is over 40%. So if building on our last run we can be involved. 4 places available so ill be playing 0.75pt win 1.25pt place

350 Yarmouth Initiator can go well as gets the trip and the fast ground. Not sure the fav wants the trip. Spencer is riding well at the min and is 40% + place rare here. Can forgive a poor show at Epsom and our last run at Sandown has a bit of substance as has produced a winner in a 0-90 hcp at Kempton.
