Well that was a nice way to round-off this season’s Nationals! With Vincente and Cogry both advised in last week’s newsletter then hopefully you cashed-in and snapped up the 9/1 and 18/1 on offer about the first two home…………….end of trumpet blowing!

Anyway, more top jumping action this Saturday as the curtain comes down on another National Hunt season at Sandown – Nicky Henderson will be landing the trainers’ title, but it’s been a top battle between himself and Paul Nicholls, so there is plenty to look forward to again next season on that front.

The Bet365 Gold Cup takes centre stage at Sandown – we’ve listed all the key trends below in what looks another ultra-competitive renewal of the race. We’ve got it down to three, so hopefully one of these can do the business!

Nicky Henderson’s next star chaser – Altior – is also on show at Sandown in the Celebration Chase, where he’ll be taking on the current Champion Chaser Special Tiara. It’s set to be a cracking showdown between the established Tiara and the new kid on the block – Altior.

Plenty to look forward to, and this week we’ve got ALL the races from the Esher track covered – not just the ITV ones!

From here on in the focus properly switches to the flat, but as we all know jump racing fans still get their fix with summer cards through the hot months – It’s been a cracking year on the NH front and bundles to look forward as we look ahead to next season!
