Game 1 (Phil @ Wash) will draw a lot of interest because of the two QB’s, Michael Vick and Robert Griffin III and because of the Eagles new coach, Chip Kelly. This is a difficult game to handicap because there is no way to effectively evaluate Griffin since he was held out of the preseason. I lean to Philadelphia in this game, if only for that reason, coupled with the fact the NFL has no regular season history with which to evaluate Chip Kelly’s impact on the Eagles. Having said that, the prudent thing to do here is to be patient and so we will pass. We will also pass tonight in game 2, Houston @ San Diego. I can tell you that I lean to Houston in this game but so does 80% of America and that is seldom a good thing when you are considering a wager!

My advice is for you to sit back and enjoy MNF without worrying about who will cover the spread.
