Francesco Molinari will have huge support but Simon Dyson can spoil the party by winning the Italian Open for which he has the best current form of the entire field. Emiliano Grillo is the 21 year old Argentinean who has begun to appear on leader boards and his accurate game is suited to the debuting course in Turin. Thomas Aiken’s moderate form can be offset by his suitability to the course.
Dyson, Gregory Bourdy and Gregory Havret score highly for the key accuracy disciplines so have the profile to win their 72 hole matches with Bernd Wiesberger, Richie Ramsay and Rafael Cabrera-Bello respectively.
